Today, the Bandstand of the Public Garden in Évora hosts the concert of Noiserv

Today, September 10th, at 9.30 pm, the bandstand at the Public Garden of Évora receives a concert by Noiserv, part of the “Volta a Portugal em 8 coretos” that the musician, known as “orchestra-man”, is performing throughout the country. In this project, Noiserv covers the eight regions of the continent with eight concerts, in eight bandstands.

Évora’s show is scheduled for the bandstand in the Public Garden, dating from the end of the 18th century, recently rehabilitated after an accident with the fall of a crane during the work on the Palácio de D. Manuel.

With this tour, Noiserv, aka David Santos, seeks to “fuse his contemporary music with heritage, through an audiovisual show performed in eight beautiful places, full of stories and music”, in which he presents “Uma Palavra Começada por N”, their fourth album of originals released in September of last year.

This concert is a good opportunity to return the bandstand to its original role as a stage for musical performances, now that the rehabilitation of the entire structure has been completed, after the accident in 2019. Due to the seriousness of the damage, the work involved a complex intervention and time-consuming with respect for the original construction techniques, fulfilling the purpose of preserving the historical and material authenticity of the bandstand, also achieved through the reuse, treatment, and cleaning of all original elements where this was possible, and replicas in the remaining cases.

Entrance is free with limited capacity for a maximum of 200 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
