Coronavirus: Festival for those at home

The #EuFicoEmCasa festival promises to liven up the thousands of Portuguese who are obliged or voluntarily decided to stay at home in the next few days, due to Covid-19.

[dropcap type=”background”]W[/dropcap]ith 78 confirmed presence, the festival #EuFicoEmCasa, intends to encourage the Portuguese who are at home, obliged or voluntarily, due to the pandemic COVID-19, which is reaching all corners of the planet and which in Portugal already has 331 positive cases and the first official death today.

So whoever is in a case without being able to work or work from home on a telecommuting basis, between March 17 and 22, the first week of the quarantine, will have more than 40 hours of music by 78 confirmed artists, live on Instagram.

This is an unprecedented festival, with artists performing at home, 30 minutes each, also in isolation as a precaution, uniting artists, publishers and agencies in Portugal, was announced on the official Instagram page

Even at a distance, we are all together: artists, publishers, agencies, media, influencers and all those who want to join this @FestivalEuFicoEmCasa. Between the 17th and 22nd of March, live on Instagram, close to a hundred national performers, musicians and authors will give individual ‘concerts’ of about 30 minutes, from their own homes, with two main goals: to take music to everyone who was deprived of concerts that were cancelled across the country and, above all, to raise awareness among the Portuguese population about the urgency of staying at home at this critical time.
