Crato Festival begins Tuesday and expects over 100,000 visitors
Gipsy Kings, Gentleman, Pedro Abrunhosa, Ivete Sangalo and Gavin James are the headliners of the 35th edition of the Crato Music Festival in the Portalegre district, which starts Tuesday.
The festival, which will run until Saturday, is promoted by the municipality that also bets on handicrafts, with about 40 exhibitors, and the cuisine of the region with the representation of about 25 bars and an official restaurant.
On the first day of the festival, Kappa Jota, Rwella & DJ Khabal and Gipsy Kings will be on stage.
ProfJam, Dillaz and Gentleman make up the second day of the Crato Festival.
The third day of the festival will be marked by the concerts of Captain Fausto and Pedro Abrunhosa & Committee Caviar.
On Friday, Tiago Nacarato and Brazilian artist Ivete Sangalo will take the stage.
On the fifth and last day of the festival are announced Fernando Daniel, The Gift and Gavin James.
On Stage two, next to the handicraft and gastronomy fair, there will also be several musicians, mainly linked to artistic projects developed in that region, with free admission to this area of the event.
The organization also provides a space for all festival-goers who want to camp in the area.
Ticket prices for the Crato Festival range from 10 to 15 euros and tickets with access to occasional camping can also be purchased.
