Crato Festival postponed to 2022

This year’s edition of the Crato Festival and the 36th Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair were postponed, following the covid-19 pandemic.

The two events, which traditionally take place in parallel, at the end of August, have been rescheduled for 2022.

The decision, according to the municipality, took into account the advantages and consequences of holding this type of mass event, such as the festival, in the current pandemic, also anticipating the context that may occur in the month of August.

The organization of a music festival like the one that takes place in the town of Crato requires prior planning, with weeks in advance and an investment with high risk of non-return.
