Cristiano Ronaldo best European player of the 21st century
The Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo was voted the best player of the 21st century in the poll of the British channel BBC.
Another award won by the Portuguese athlete, among the many already conquered and records broken, the vote took place on the BBC entitled “European of Players” and obtained 56% of the votes, followed by the Spanish Andrés Iniesta with 44%.
In this virtual championship Cristiano also left Modric, Kane and Benzema in the group stage, Thierry Henry in the round of 16, Zidane in the quarter-finals and Paolo Maldini in the semi-finals, in a true Players’ Champions League.
