Cristina Branco announces new tour dates for the 25th anniversary of her career

Cristina Branco continues to celebrate her 25 years of career on stage. Sardinia, Barcelos and Viena are some of the destinations to receive the already extensive tour of one of the most important Portuguese singers.

After having dazzled Dreieich (Germany) last Sunday, Cristina Branco performs this Thursday, the 11th, in Sardinia (Italy) where she headlines the Nora Jazz Festival. The following week, on August 16, she travels to Ribeira da Pena, Vila Real at the invitation of the Cister Music Orchestra (CISMO) for a second performance of the show created and premiered for Cistermúsica in July.

Also confirmed and with tickets on sale, is the concert on the International Day of Music, on October 1, in Barcelona. Cristina will take the stage at Theatro Gil Vicente at 9:30 pm accompanied by her usual trio: Bernardo Couto on Portuguese guitar, Bernardo Moreira on double bass and Luís Figueiredo on piano.

She began her career in 1997 with Cristina Branco in Holland (Live), an album that turned out to be a real success in that country. Today, 25 years and 17 albums later, Cristina Branco is one of the most important Portuguese singers today, with a widely recognized career, crossing fado, popular music and jazz, and has been celebrated on stage throughout 2022, on a tour that already has more than 40 dates across Europe.
