In a show of solidarity for peace in Ukraine, the CCB Foundation created a cultural bridge with the Lviv Cultural Center.
This cultural centre is located in the Hnat Khotkevych Palace of Culture, which usually hosts cultural activities, has been transformed into a logistics and humanitarian aid operations post.
The need to bring scarce goods to Lviv has led the CCB to organize a campaign to collect goods. In the space of the Tent of the CCB, an operational and logistical centre will be implemented for the collection and selection of necessary goods, which will have the support of volunteers. This centre will be in operation between the 26th and 30th of March, from 9 am to 9 pm, in partnership with several partner entities, including the Association of Ukrainians in Portugal.
In connection with this campaign, the Centro Cultural de Belém will promote a concert with Portuguese musicians, to raise funds, where the proceeds will revert to the Portuguese Red Cross. The concert will be broadcast live, to Lviv, in partnership with RTP Palco, which will allow it to reach an even larger audience and in a wider geography.
Carrying this notion of the bridge and two-way relationships to the concert, the CCB invited several artists to collaborate and perform as a duo.
Names like Mário Laginha, who will perform solo and in duo with Cristina Branco, Filipe Raposo and Ricardo Ribeiro, Salvador Sobral and André Santos, Júlio Resende, Ricardo Toscano and João Barradas, Bruno Pernadas and Margarida Campelo, Filipe Melo and João Moreira, Daniel Bernardes and Desidério Lázaro, as well as pianist Joana Gama, will perform this concert throughout Ukraine. The concert will be recorded.
