The new single is released at the same time that two previous songs from d4vd conquer, respectively, Platinum and Gold awards.
d4vd, an artist who defies musical genres, has just released his new single, “Worthless”.
The fast-paced anthem with its bombastic bass line, echoing vocals, and heavy guitar chorus recalls a distant familiar song playing in a crowded room. “Worthless” expands the artist’s repertoire that defies musical genres. It follows “Placebo Effect”, which debuted earlier this year with the video directed by Trey Lyons – capturing d4vd in visually captivating landscapes as he himself shares a family story of unrequited love.
In 2022, d4vd released two highly acclaimed singles, “Romantic Homicide” (Platinum single in the US and Gold in Portugal) – a guitar-driven, dirty breakup anthem -, and “Here With Me” (Gold Record in the US and Ouro em Portugal), a beach ballad. d4vd was recently named one of 23 artists to watch out for in 2023 by Zane Lowe and nominated in the same category by Amazon Music.
After facing copyright strikes on his YouTube gaming channel, d4vd started recording his own music inside his sister’s closet on the BandLab app. d4vd stays true to their DIY beginnings while continuing to release genre-defying singles with influences ranging from R&B to Indie Rock.
