Prime Video premieres this Friday, March 3, the first three episodes of the highly anticipated series Daisy Jones & The Six, with new episodes every Friday through March 24. The series will be available on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.
Based on the novel by Taylor Jenkins, Daisy Jones & The Six is a musical drama that details the rise and precipitous decline of a famous rock band. In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Led by two charismatic vocalists Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), the group jumped from obscurity to fame, but after a sold-out concert at Soldier Field in Chicago, they stopped singing. Now, several decades later, the band members agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band ended their music career when they were at their peak.
The series stars Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone as Camila Dunne, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree, Sebastian Chacon is Warren Rhodes, Nabiyah Be plays Simone Jackson and Tom Wright plays Teddy Price. The series also features the special presence of Timothy Olyphant as Rod Reyes.
Produced by Amazon Studios, Daisy Jones & The Six is executive produced by actress Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter of Hello Sunshine and Brad Mendelsohn of Circle of Confusion. The series, created by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, is based on the bestselling book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, who is also part of the production. In addition, it has the co-production of Scott Neustadter and Will Graham, who also play the role of executive producers. The first five episodes of the series were directed and produced by James Ponsoldt, while the other four were directed by Nzingha Stewart and one by Will Graham.
