Dancefloor Jump To The Drop, Interregnum in 2023 already thinking about 2024

Dancefloor – Jump to the drop, a music festival that, since 2015, has brought together more than 60,000 people and more than 50 artists, is in a new phase of restructuring.

To the question that has been asked in some media circuits about the holding (or not) of the Dancefloor festival in 2023, Tiago Martins, promoter of that same event, tells us that “this year we are going to take a break. A pause to think more about the project and how we can improve it, not only in terms of musical content but also in terms of the festival-goer’s experience. We also have to think about whether, in 2024, we should opt for an indoor or outdoor solution.

As for staying in the city of Braga or moving the festival to another city, Tiago Martins says that “we are considering all possibilities. The festival can be transferred to any city in Portugal. And I can even say that we are available to hear and analyze proposals from municipalities that want to host Dancefloor”. Thus, although this year’s edition of Dancefloor does not exist, it is quite possible that we will have news in the coming weeks.

The last edition of the festival took place in July 2022, bringing together some of the most emblematic and promising DJs and producers in the world.
