“Outras Línguas” by Bárbara Tinoco is part of “Dancing in the Rain”, the Russian contemporary dance show that opens on the 28th at the Coliseu dos Recreios!
Initially scheduled for May last year, the premiere, in Portugal, of the Russian contemporary dance show “Dancing in the Rain” will take place on October 28 at Coliseu dos Recreios!
Described as an unforgettable experience by the more than 3 million spectators who have watched the show in Russia, northeastern Europe and Germany, the expectation is also high in Portugal, which led the producer to make more tickets available.
In line with what has happened in other countries, the Dance Company of the Theater of St. Petersburg has included themes from the host countries in the choreography designed by Rustam Nadyrshin (Director/ Choreographer). In Portugal, the choice fell on “Other Languages” by Bárbara Tinoco whose video has more than 1.6 million views!
“Dancing in the Rain” is a show with various styles – classical ballet, contemporary, folk, modern jazz, hip-hop, breakdance, acrobatics – and with a touch of humour in the interpretation. For two hours*, 11 incredible dancers dance under heavy artificial rain**, in an artistic but also sporting performance, a show of another dimension, a perfect combination of the highest level technique and surprising rain!
