Daniela Reis finishes in 75th place the Tour Down Under
The Portuguese cyclist Daniela Reis (Doltcini-Van Eyck Sport) finished today in 75th place the Tour Down Under, the first race of the women’s World Tour, which is held in Australia.
In the fourth and final stage, a 42.5-kilometre circuit in Adelaide, the national champion was 68th, 21 seconds behind Australian Amateur Chloe Hosking (Alé-Cipollini), who won at 1: 02.38 hours, ahead of Italian Letizia Paternoster (Trek-Segafredo) and Rachele Barbieri (Bepink).
For the third consecutive year, Amanda Spratt (Mitchelton-Scott) won the race on a podium of three Australians with Lucy Kennedy (Mitchelton-Scott) being 49 seconds behind and Rachel Neylan (UniSA-Australia) 53.
Daniela Reis finished in 75th place at 22.57 minutes.
