David Bisbal – with more than two decades of success behind him; we are talking about one of the most enduring global stars of Latin pop – wanted to join the Christmas musical tradition and now fulfils that wish with “TODO ES POSIBLE EN NAVIDAD,” the single that anticipates the album of the same name with a Christmas repertoire that will be released on November 15 and will last until the end of the year.
Composed by David himself, along with some of his usual collaborators, plus the album’s producer, Cheche Alara, “TODO ES POSIBLE EN NAVIDAD” has all the attributes of a Christmas album and the necessary qualities to enter the list of classics in the genre.
The brief prelude of bells and strings that announces it immediately gives way to a rhythm punctuated by simple piano motifs. It is a Christmas song, yes, but it has the rhythmic and melodic beat reminiscent of the legendary Holland-Dozier-Holland trio in some of the landmarks composed for Motown Records. Before a minute passes, Bisbal’s voice starts to converse with the brass arrangements, which are pure fantasy. These propel the piece to infinity and beyond, multiplying the radiant message of a song that invites reconnecting not only with others but also with ourselves. With it, David Bisbal sees one of his greatest artistic wishes finally fulfilled, infecting us with his emotion and joy in this special moment.
