Davis Cup and Fed Cup finals rescheduled for 2021

The Davis Cup title will be discussed in the week starting November 22, 2021, in Madrid, for the 18 teams that were supposed to compete this year, while the World Group meetings, scheduled for September 2020, were postponed until the next year.

The women’s national team competition, which should have been played between April 14 and 19 of this year, but was postponed due to the pandemic, with no scheduled date, has now been scheduled for the same period in 2021, between April 13 and 18, remaining in Budapest.

The ITF and the Davis Cup organizers considered that there are significant logistical and legal challenges that prevent a large-scale indoor event, such as those planned for the Spanish and Hungarian capitals.
