Dead Combo passes by Barreiro with the tour that marks the duo’s farewell
The Dead Combo duo brought their tour “Fim” to Barreiro with a concert at the Augusto Cabrita Municipal Auditorium.
Dead Combo, a duo composed of Tó Trips and Pedro V. Gonçalves, formed in 2002 and released their first album in 2004.
The band’s main musical influences are Fado, Rock, Westerns soundtracks, as well as music from South America and Africa.
In 2020, they remember their entire journey with the tour “Fim” (“End”) that marks the farewell of the duo to the stages, but it will not be a sad ending, because there is much to be celebrated.
The band has, to date, nine albums released that were widely praised in Portugal and abroad, receiving several awards.
The “Fim” Tour started in December 2019 in Bairro Alto, Lisbon, and will pass through Castelo Branco, Sesimbra, Beja, Torres Novas, Porto, among others.
On February 15th, the band passed by Barreiro with an intimate concert that sold out the big auditorium of the Audiótio Municipal Augusto Cabrita (AMAC).
Dead Combo delivered themselves to Barreiro with an intimate concert that recalled all the best successes, and more, of their career.
In a dark but comforting environment, Barreirenses could hear hits like “Eléctrica cadente“, “A Menina Dança”, “Esse olhar que era só teu”, “Lisboa Mulata“, and, of course, “Povo que cais descalço”.
And so it ends another concert full of emotion, the Dead Combo left Barreiro surrendered and the audience loved it and left the venue already missing the duo.
The band ends their farewell tour in May with a concert at Casa da Criatividade, in Madeira.
