new album “Drastic Symphonies” on May 19th

Rock legends Def Leppard are thrilled to release their latest video for the single “Animal”. The song is taken from the brand new album, entitled “Drastic Symphonies”, which sees rock royalty join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, dramatically recreating some of the band’s most iconic songs.

Def Leppard deconstructed and reconstructed not only some of their best-known songs but also some of their hidden themes. In general, they merged the audio from the original tapes with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recordings. The album includes new voices and guitars that culminate in beautiful symphonic arrangements. At different points, we can hear Joe Elliott’s duet with his younger self.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded it at Abbey Road in March 2022. Produced by Def Leppard, Ronan McHugh and Nick Patrick with arrangements by Eric Gorfain (Neil Diamond, Ryan Adams, Christina Aguilera).
