Deixem o Pimba em Paz adds new dates in Porto
January 29th and 30th, at the Sá da Bandeira Theatre
After selling out four performances, “Deixem o Pimba em Paz” (“Leave Pimba Alone”) has added two extra dates on January 29th and 30th at the Sá da Bandeira Theatre in Porto.
Tickets are already on sale. The concerts are part of the celebration of the project’s twelfth anniversary, which brings together Bruno Nogueira, Manuela Azevedo, Filipe Melo, Nuno Rafael, and Nelson Cascais.
Premiered in 2013, “Deixem o Pimba em Paz” has won over audiences with a reinterpretation of the Pimba repertoire, touring Portugal from North to South — including the islands — and crossing borders to the United States and Brazil. With hundreds of performances since its debut, the success of “Deixem o Pimba em Paz” is a true phenomenon of popularity that has captivated audiences of several generations for twelve years.
