Denmark thrashed Wales (4-0)

This Saturday, Denmark thrashed Wales, by 4-0, in the first game of the round of 16 of the European.

In Amsterdam, the Nordics took the lead through Kasper Dolberg (replaced the injured Yussuf Poulsen) in the 27th minute, with an excellent arched shot from the edge of the area.

At the start of the second half, a faulty cut by Neco Williams left the ball at the feet of the Nice forward, who, in the face of goalkeeper Danny Ward, fired without hesitation and signed the 2-0, on 48’. In the 88th minute, full-back Joakim Maehle, one of the highlights of Kasper Hjulmand’s selection, shot Ward and increased the lead to 3-0. The Danes are now waiting for the winner of the Dutch-Czech Republic meeting to meet their quarter-final opponent (July 3 in Baku).
