After Duarte’s remarkable concert in Bordeaux, the USA follows
A poster tore up the facade of the Bordeaux National Opera (France’s emblematic hall) and announced that Duarte would sing on that day.
Full room, Le Monde critics, theatre directors, consulates from Spain and Portugal, musicians, French, Portuguese, and also someone who had purposely come from Istanbul to be able to attend the concert.
It was much more than just singing. Just as if it were a ceremony. The celebration of the condition of those who live and try to live in the other’s shoes. And so he sang as if it were nothing.
After the remarkable concert in Bordeaux, there will be concerts in the USA where Duarte will join Marta Pereira da Costa for several concerts in Uncle Sam’s lands. From California to Massachusetts.
