After 6 sold out and unforgettable sessions at the Coliseu do Porto, in 2020, the Desconcerto by António Zambujo, César Mourão, Luísa Sobral and Miguel Araújo, one of the biggest box office phenomena of recent years in Portugal, returns to the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, next week, between the 26th and 30th of January.
The sessions on the 28th and 29th are already sold out, and it is still possible to purchase tickets for the 26th, 27th and 30th of January.
Remember that the original show premiered in 2018 and soon sold out 5 nights, between Lisbon and Porto, at the Tivoli BBVA and Sá da Bandeira Theaters. Two years later the 4 artists returned to the stage when it was again possible to reconcile everyone’s schedules. They missed improvising lyrics and music live, in what is probably the most non-sense and fun concert the public will ever be able to attend. Improvisation is the watchword in César Mourão’s dialogues with people from the audience, chosen at random, in the lyrics created at the time by Luísa Sobral and Miguel Araújo or in the part in which António Zambujo sings with the utmost dignity the poetry possible, created in the time.
The idea for Desconcerto appeared when the three friends, César Mourão, Miguel Araújo and António Zambujo, decided to go on vacation to the Algarve together. Conversation leads to conversation, guitar calls guitar, improvisation generates improvisation. Being each other’s fans for a long time, when they found it, they were creating and improvising songs together, with no other intention than to have fun. The good memories of those days led us to want to share these moments of complicity with the public. They then decided to invite Luísa Sobral, of whom they are fans and friends, to join them. The result? A magnificent disconcerting of music and good humour, created a la minute, absolutely improvised and unmissable, which will surprise them, as well as the public, and which is even better than going on vacation with these friends.
January 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 – 9:30 pm
