Desconcerto, returned to Lisbon, this time at Coliseu dos Recreios, and the first night was memorable, António Zambujo, César Mourão, Luísa Sobral and Miguel Araújo, with special guest Agir, improvised as only they know, an unforgettable night.
César Mourão, master of improvisation, is the guide of a night in which comedy is Queen and music is the King, together, in this original format, three great musicians and composers, António Zambujo, Luísa Sobral (by streaming, caught by covid) and Miguel Araújo, making improvisation the soul of this concert.
Original show that premiered in 2018 and sold out 5 nights, between Lisbon and Porto, at the Tivoli BBVA and Sá da Bandeira Theaters, due to the covid, the Lisbon concerts in 2020 were postponed, but it was well worth the wait.
César Mourão, with the collaboration of people from the public, who are chosen at random, creates the basis for, with his questions and comments, always with a lot of jokes, for the creation of the lyrics created by Luísa Sobral and Miguel Araújo, which António Zambujo sings. with the utmost dignity this newly created poem.
The artists use various ways to create the compositions, whether using the contents of a lady’s bag or inviting a couple too, in a disconcerting way, reveal each other’s biggest flaws, or even choosing a person to, just by appearance, but the artists guessing characteristics, profession, name, etc, of that spectator, integrating them in a poem.
The idea of Desconcerto, mentions César Mourão, arose when he, Miguel Araújo and António Zambujo decided to go on vacation together to the Algarve, conversation leads to conversation, guitar calls to guitar, improvisation generates improvisation, fans confessed to each other, quickly realized that they were creating and improvising songs and having fun, and that’s how Desconcerto was born.
Unmissable music and good mood concert at Coliseu dos Recreios until January 30th.
