Blizzard confirmed during its BlizzCon event that it is producing a remastering of ‘Diablo II’, one of the North American production’s greatest classics released in the year 2000 and that it could thus serve as a gateway for a new generation of players.
The producer confirmed that ‘Diablo II Resurrected’ will include the original game as well as the ‘Lord of Destruction’ expansion. The launch is confirmed for PC and consoles, again PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch, and will take place in 2021.
As for the next major title in the series, Blizzard took the opportunity to reveal a new trailer for ‘Diablo IV’, giving special focus to the latest class – Rogue – which thus joins Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid.
Along with the trailer, Blizzard also revealed new images of ‘Diablo IV’, which should help to wait for this game yet to be announced.
