Diana Castro publishes her first album of originals, principio, meio e principio, already in the next month of January. She takes the new album and other songs from her repertoire to the Capitólio stage on March 10, 2023, with the support of Antena 1.
In principle, means, and principle, Diana Castro relies on “the Portuguese language and song for the construction of new sounds within the acoustic universe”, explains the author. In the presentation concert, we will be able to get to know the “cyclic vision of life and love” that this record represents and about “being a woman, being a mother, being an artist, being a principle, means, and principle – the last step of each process it is not an end, but a force that launches me towards the next beginning”, concludes Diana.
Diana Castro is taking her first steps as a singer-songwriter, but her career in music has already started some time ago. She took second place on The Voice, followed by the release of her first EP, A Espera (2021). She was the interpreter chosen by Joana Espadinha to sing her Ginger Ale at the Festival RTP da Canção 2022 and was later invited by Maro to go to Eurovision to join the artist who represented Portugal this year.
The artist edited, however, Alguém tem de sair, the first single from the future album. At the end of January, it will be possible to listen to principio, meio e principio, which is co-produced by Luísa Sobral, and anticipate what will be the presentation concert for this album, at Capitólio, on March 10th.
