[dropcap]A[/dropcap]lthough some names that had been announced for the canceled edition of 2020 are already known, such as the French (LA) HORDE, with the Ballet National de Marseille, the South Korean Eun-Me Ahn, the choreographer Victor Hugo Pontes and the director Tiago Rodrigues, with La Ribot and Mathilde Monnier, the schedule will only be revealed in full, on April 8th.
The festival, renamed “DDD – No Palco/Em Casa”, will be held live and online or just in a virtual environment with the aim of continuing with its mission to promote the richness and diversity of Portuguese dance internationally.
After a year-long break due to the pandemic, DDD – Festival Dias da Dança is back from April 20th to 30th for an edition that was initially conceived to be held exclusively in digital format.
This, which will be the fifth edition of DDD, promises a vast program composed of Portuguese and foreign shows, which reflect the choreographic diversity so present in the festival’s DNA, exhibitions, online conversations, masterclasses, and artistic residencies.
