Dino Parque reopens to the public on April 9, inviting all visitors to a unique playful and educational experience, in complete safety.
An outdoor space, perfect for family programs, ideal for being in contact with nature and meeting some of the most famous dinosaurs in the world. With more than 10 hectares of open space, the Lourinhã dinosaur park is the largest outdoor exhibition of this theme in Europe, comprising five different routes that allow visitors to observe more than 180 models of dinosaur species at full scale, as well as animals that ruled the oceans 450 million years ago.
In addition to the outdoor routes, the museum space and live lab, located in the central building of Dino Parque, will be in operation from next Friday, with fossils and dinosaur eggs, originals and replicas, as well as the paleontological exhibition. “Dinosauros da Lourinhã” of technical and scientific responsibility of the Group of Ethnography and Archeology of Lourinhã (GEAL).
To ensure the safety of all families, visitors and employees, the theme park reinforced its set of COVID-19 contingency measures, including: measurement of body temperature at the entrance; use of personal protective equipment by visitors and employees; hourly disinfection of indoor and outdoor spaces; availability of various hand disinfection points; reformulation of the picnic areas, guaranteeing the safety distance between tables; reinforcement of signs to ensure a distance of 2 meters between visitors, among others.
