Diogo Piçarra celebrates 10 years of career with new book, “Um Espelho, Uma Década”
The book will be released on June 20th and is now available for pre-order
Diogo Piçarra marks a decade of career this year and, to celebrate this milestone, the artist presents “Um Espelho, Uma Década” (“A Mirror, A Decade”), his new book that provides a complete retrospective of the last 10 years, reflecting on the most remarkable moments of his music career.
The book will be a journey through the evolution of Diogo Piçarra, from his first steps to his consolidated success, and is now available for pre-sale at the artist’s official store, in a limited and exclusive version, numbered and autographed by him. Next Friday, June 20, the book will be available at the usual stores.
“Um Espelho, Uma Década” is Diogo Piçarra’s third book, following “Diogo Piçarra em Pessoa” and “Os Tvgas – V Séculos de Camões a Piçarra”, both reinventions of works by Fernando Pessoa and Luís de Camões, respectively. The book, which looks to the past with a sense of nostalgia and to the future with enthusiasm, features interactive content such as QR Codes that allow you to listen to the songs and access videos of the artist, as well as exclusive and never-before-seen images, which offer fans an intimate view of the singer.
Diogo Piçarra’s career is marked by hits such as “Monarquia”, “Tu E Eu”, “Anjos” and “Amor de Ferro” (the latter was recently voted Best Song of 2024 by the audience at the aRi[t]mar Awards). With over 325 million streams and a constant presence on stage, the artist continues to promote his latest album, SNTMNTL (2024), while maintaining his role as a mentor on the television program “The Voice Kids” (RTP1), sharing his knowledge and passion for music with new generations of artists.
The launch of the book “Um Espelho, Uma Década” was announced to partners at the party celebrating the artist’s 10-year career and will be the first of several new releases this summer. This project marks the culmination of this decade, which has consolidated Diogo Piçarra as one of the most important artists in Portuguese music.
