“Saída de Emergência”, released at the beginning of this year, quickly became one of Diogo Piçarra’s mandatory songs.
After the success it achieved on stages and on digital platforms, an EP of remixes of “Saída de Emergência” is now being released.
In addition to the original version, this EP is also composed of an original remix by HÜMAN, a Portuguese producer who has made waves in the current electronic music scene (legends such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, or Nicky Romero have already shown their support and played your music).
Speaking about the opportunity to sign a remix for Diogo Piçarra, HÜMAN states: “The first time I heard ‘Saída de Emergência’ was right on the release day, and there are simply songs that touch us in a different way. I spent weeks listening to music every day until I decided to try to produce something in my style. Diogo is an unavoidable reference in Portuguese music. As artists, we are often led to follow a single line, and Diogo has always shown an incredible ability to break out of these currents and present himself in a unique way, and always with enormous quality. For me, having the recognition and being able to be part of the catalog of someone I admire and respect is a huge source of pride, and I can only thank Diogo and Universal Music for believing in my work and in Portuguese electronic music.”
We can also hear an acoustic version of “Salida de Emergência”, as well as other remixes that were originally released only on TikTok and that are now finally available on this EP, namely the remixes “Pitched&Reverb”, “Future Bass” and “Nightcore”.
In “Saída de Emergência”, Diogo Piçarra worked with English producer Tom Martin, who has produced productions for famous artists such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Tiësto. “Saída de Emergência” is an emotional song, in which Diogo Piçarra masterfully interprets the vulnerability he feels in the face of the vertigo of the end.
