Diogo Piçarra conquers Campo Pequeno, in a concert in which his proximity to the public was felt by everyone, in which he gave a lot of affection to those who managed to be closer to the stage.
Campo Pequeno was the stage chosen by Diogo for another great concert, with lights, pyrotechnics, special effects, and of course lots of dancing and hits that we all know, in addition to many guests, who filled the fans, who sold out the Lisbon venue, of great joy.
However, it was the proximity to the fans that stood out most in this concert, they were able to touch, we know how a handshake, or simply touching the artist, gives great joy to those who go to see their favourite artist, Diogo allowed this throughout the concert, posed for the video and photography, always with a big smile and a lot of friendliness, and ended with a big hug among the fans, to everyone’s delight.
After the success of the concert in Porto, Lisbon hosted the Sentimental Tour, in a room with fans of all ages, from the youngest to the oldest, Diogo Piçarra is transversal to his audience, and it was with a video that he opened Sentimental to anyone who went to see it.
It was two hours without stopping, in which Diogo Piçarra moved frantically around the stage and language, amid fire and sparks, smoke (sometimes too much) and confetti, always with lots of lighting effects, with spotlights illuminating him alone, or the entire arena inviting the public to be part of the show.
Diogo opened the concert with “Sentimental” in the company of a mini band and dancers Joel and Josué Oliveira and from the beginning he covered the entire stage, followed by the new songs, “Não Te Odeio”, “Teu” and “Dialeto”, and after “Já Não Falamos”, “Coração”, “Até Ao Fim” and “Saída de Emergência”.
The first guest then arrived, JÜRA, who sang “Sabesamar”, from Sentimental, with Diogo, in a performance that won over the audience. “Anjos” was the song that followed, with the second guest coming in soon after, to sing with Diogo “Paraquedas”, Madrid native Sofia Martin, who made her singing debut in Portuguese lands.
Alone on stage with his guitar, he sang in communion with the audience, “A Nossa Rua”, then addressing everyone he confessed, “You are all my guardian angel, I am only here because of you”, he continued. “Trevo”, “História”, “Tu e Eu” AND “Oceano”.
It was then time for Van Zee & FRANKIEONTHEGUITAR to take the stage and “Underwater” was the theme chosen for the three of them, on FRANKIEONTHEGUITAR’s birthday, which was entitled to congratulations from everyone present.
It was on the piano that Diogo sang “nós os Dois”, then in tribute to one of his favourite bands, he sang “The Kill” by 30 Seconds to Mars, followed by “Paraíso” and “Amor de Ferro” which he performed on stage with the great Pedro Abrunhosa, one of the highlights of the concert, which had many, won over all the fans and remains in memory as one of Diogo Piçarra’s best concerts, to this day!
With the concert coming to an end, there was still time for “Há Sempre Uma Música”, for a family photo, to remember later, and for another guest, Bispo, who took the stage to sing “Monarquia”, and it was like this, “crowned” by the joy of the fans, that Diogo Piçarra closed this triumphant concert, we hope for more like this.
