Discover the urban art spread through the streets of Lagos
If you are on the sides of Algarve, this summer take the opportunity to get to know the urban works scattered throughout the region. In the open sky, embedded in the streets and in daily life, the Câmara de Lagos invites you to appreciate the murals scattered throughout the municipality.
ARTURb is a unique project in the Algarve, involving some of the most important names in the urban art scene. It consists of an artistic residence at the Associação Cultural Laboratório de Actividades Criativas (LAC), followed by an exhibition in the LAC’s premises and several street art interventions across the city of Lagos.
ARTURb is a concept of art-on-tour and of national and international artistic exchange based on participative presence, and local coexistence and experience. Above all, the event fosters the exchange of ideas, the presentation of new concepts, the confrontation of aesthetic and cultural realities, the uncommon experience, and the free circulation of art.
