Musical classics such as The Lion King, Frozen, Hercules and The Little Mermaid, to the rhythm of the Lisbon Film Orchestra, will be performed for the first time at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA in 2025.
“Magical Music from the Movies” is the theme of the new show “Disney in Concert” by the Lisbon Film Orchestra (LFO) at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA in 2025. The musical journeys are scheduled for May 30th and 31st, and June 1st of next year.
This musical show is directed by maestro Nuno de Sá, who will present the timeless and magical musical themes of Disney on the stage of the Teatro Tivoli BBVA for the first time. “Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies” is a show that appeals to all generations and features a chorus of songs by childhood heroes and heroines – The Lion King, Frozen, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, among many others.
LFO, which will be coming of age in 2025, will perform the melodies of Disney classics, which will be projected on a large screen. Disney films will be in perfect synchronisation with the music and voices that embody the fairy tale characters.
The show promises an unforgettable journey to fantastic worlds where wishes come true, hope is eternal, love conquers all and where everyone lives happily ever after. At least in that “ideal world” of The Little Mermaid, which will be experienced at the Tivoli BBVA Theatre, and which will welcome children and adults, as well as all Disney lovers, for a show sung in Portuguese.
Since 2015, LFO and UAU Produtora have been enchanting audiences with the soundtracks of Disney productions.
