Disney+ will have option to view series remotely in group

Disney is launching in the US the ability for users to watch series and movies together on Disney+, without leaving their own homes.

The feature is called GroupWatch and allows up to seven people to watch a series or movie together. The functionality has already been tested in Canada and will be available in the browser, on mobile devices, smartTVs and pluggable devices.

These types of features made some extensions especially popular during the quarantine period, when friends and family were prevented from meeting due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
