On Sunday, May 12th, Iberanime will be the stage for a bender panel that has long been desired by all fans of the mythical anime series.
Henrique Feist, João Loy, Ricardo Spínola and Cristina Cavalinhos, the talented artists behind the iconic voices of Dragon Ball, will come together to share their experiences and reveal behind-the-scenes secrets. And the moderator? None other than the incredible Quimbé.
But this is not all. Before the panel, we will have a surprise moment of tribute to the legendary creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama. A unique opportunity to celebrate 40 years of Dragon Ball and the magic that has captivated generations.
A long-awaited return that has now finally come true
Henrique Feist is a familiar name to anime fans in Portugal, being the voice behind iconic characters like Son Goku, Son Gohan and Trunks in the Dragon Ball series. Furthermore, he contributed his voice and direction to television series such as Pokémon, Power Rangers, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Ironman, without forgetting the various Disney productions in which he participated. Feist also stood out as a musical director and was responsible for translating, directing and starring in the Portuguese version of the Pokémon series on CD.
Cristina Cavalinhos is recognized for her striking voice as Bulma, the intelligent and courageous character from Dragon Ball. Her versatility is evident in the variety of characters she has voiced, including Artemis and Sailor Mars/Rei Hino in the Sailor Moon series. Cavalinhos has a diverse career that encompasses theatre and television, having participated in productions such as Herman Enciclopédia, Anjo Selvagem, and Morangos com Açúcar, among others.
Ricardo Spínola is another notable talent in the dubbing industry, known for voicing Genius Turtle and the villain Freezer. His unique interpretation of the Genius Turtle made the character even more memorable. Spínola was the voice actor who gave the most voices to the series, playing more than 30 characters. He has an impressive resume that includes appearances in animated series such as Power Rangers, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four and Naruto.
João Loy is the voice behind the proud Vegeta in Dragon Ball. In addition to Vegeta, Loy also voiced other characters in the series, including Satan. His work is not limited to Dragon Ball, having also participated in series such as Flash Gordon, Donkey Kong Country and Topo Gigio, without ever forgetting his talent for fado and, of course, theatre.
Quimbé is a true entertainer. In addition to being a voice actor, he is an actor, broadcaster and director. He participated in the series Inspector Max as an inspector in 2004/2005. Regarding works where he lent his voice, he was a voice actor in many dubbing for Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Universal Studios films, anime (such as, for example, Dragon Ball Super) and several cartoons. He also voice-overs documentaries, was the voice of Canal Panda between 2002 and 2007 and was the “companion voice” of MediaMarkt campaigns.
All of these talented artists contributed significantly to the magic of Dragon Ball in Portugal, bringing our favourite heroes to life. And now is the time to see them again in this historic meeting that no one will want to miss.

Edo Haruma, animator, character designer and storyboard artist, currently living in Tokyo, Japan. He is also the illustrator responsible for the latest Iberanime posters.
Marikyuun, illustrator and VTuber who has enchanted the digital world with her vibrant art and engaging content. With a community of 900 thousand followers and almost 500 thousand subscribers on YouTube, achieved in just one year, Mari is an influential and experienced voice in the field of illustration and digital entertainment.
Yumidun is a passionate cosplayer from Stockholm, Sweden who has been cosplaying for over 10 years and has won several awards for her art. Most notable is the first-place award she won at the World Cosplay Summit 2022 in Japan. It was there that she was crowned Video Division Grand Champion, which happened for the first time in Sweden.
Shao Dow is an award-winning rapper, manga author, and occasional ninja. After studying Shaolin Kung Fu with monks while living in China, Shao Dow used the tenacity and determination he learned from his martial arts training to independently create his music career. It’s no wonder Shao won the AIM (Independent Music Awards) award for Hardest Working Artist.
Yuzu is a singer and songwriter who plays “shamisen”, the traditional Japanese guitar, in a way that combines modernity with tradition. With her shamisen and captivating rhythms, she presents the beauty and sophistication of Japanese culture to the world through traditional music and original songs.
