The Memory House of EN 2, in São Brás de Alportel, was one of the places visited during this documentary. Located next to the Largo de São Sebastião, precisely at the intersection between the country’s largest road and the largest road in the region – National Road 2 and Regional Road 270, the former Caretakers’ House – 8th Section of Road Conservation in the district of Faro, the Section House, after refurbishment works carried out by the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel, is today a museological space that annually welcomes thousands of visitors who travel here through the History of this Road and its memories, paying rightful tribute to the caretakers, Men of the Road.

The documentary “N2: The Road That Unites Us” resulted from a project by the Association of Municipalities of the Route of National Road 2, supported by Tourism of Portugal, as part of the promotion of the territories traversed by the mythical road N2, and is available on RTP Play.
