Domenico Lancellotti presented “Raio” in Lisbon

After having been in Porto at Casa da Musica to present his latest work “Raio”, Domenico Lancellotti held another concert yesterday, this time at Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon, where he delighted the audience with his new compositions.

Domenico Lancellotti, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and visual artist, member of the +2 project with Moreno Veloso and Kassin and co-founder of the Orquestra Imperial, presented the compositions of his new album, recorded in Brazil and Portugal.

To an audience of fans, friends and family, Domenico of Italian descent, son of composer and singer Ivor Lancellotti, also present at the concert, grew up influenced by the rhythm of samba, presenting his new work.

“Vai A Serpente”, “Snake Way“, “Margem Do Ceu”, “Dinamo“, “Confusao“, “Onda Do Mar“, “Mushroom Room” and “Vinho Velho“, were some of the themes of the last album that she performed. for the audience present.

Domenico Lancellotti has collaborated with several artists, such as the Quarteto em Cy, Daniel Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Fernanda Abreu and Adriana Calcanhotto.

He formed the experimental rock band called Mulheres Q Dizem Sim in the nineties when he met Moreno Veloso and Alexandre Kassin with whom he started working.

He currently participates in projects such as Os Ritmistas with Stephane San Juan and Dany Roland, the Orquestra Imperial with Berna Ceppas and Kassin, and +2 with Moreno and Kassin.

On stage, he had the company of excellent musicians João Erbetta on guitar and vocals, Claudio Andrade on keyboards and vocals, Sami Tarik on drums and percussion and Ricardo Dias Gomes on bass and vocals.
