Don Toliver confirmed in the Southwest

August 7th to 10th at Herdade da Casa Branca, Zambujeira do Mar - Odemira

One of the strongest names in international hip-hop is the headliner on August 8th.

The summer destination is made of salt water, open smiles, sharing with friends and lots of music! Temperatures are already rising and between the 7th and 10th of August, with camping scheduled to open on the 3rd, Sudoeste guarantees another unforgettable week in Zambujeira do Mar. The poster becomes increasingly unmissable and has just received confirmation: Don Toliver, one of the rappers of the moment, performs on the Festival’s main stage, the SW Stage, on August 8th.

Soul singer, songwriter and artist, Don Toliver displays a unique sound that highlights his musical influences of Hip-Hop, R&B, ambitious Pop and a bit of Rock, creating his own distinctive genre fusion. The name Don Toliver is the artistic signature of Caleb Zackery Toliver, born in June 1994 in Houston, Texas and is one of the strongest names in hip-hop today.

The first step towards international fame came with the release of the single “No Idea”, in 2019, a song that has more than 350 million views on YouTube alone, a channel where it has a total of 1.115 million views. Toliver then signed with Travis Scott’s label, Cactus Jack Records, and released his debut album “Heaven or Hell”, in 2020. The record features collaborations with artists such as Travis Scott, Quavo and Offset.

With captivating melodies, visceral lyrics and a unique style that encompasses hip-hop, trap and R&B, Don has never stopped surprising audiences and critics with his talent. With almost 28 million monthly listeners on Spotify and a repertoire full of international hits, Don Toliver also has a Grammy nomination for his participation in Kanye West’s album “Donda”, several nominations for the American Music Awards and even collaborations. with names as famous as Eminem, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Offset, Kali Uchis, Justin Bieber, Future, 21 Savage or the aforementioned Travis Scott, with whom he recorded “Can’t Say”, an authentic hit on the scale global.

In addition to the success of “No Idea”, Don Toliver’s fame can also be explained thanks to such strong songs as “After Party”, “Cardigan”, and “Drugs n Hella Melodies”, among others. After the success of “Life of a Don”, the second album released in 2021, the year in which he also released “Fast Lane” from the soundtrack of the film Dangerous Speed 9, Don Toliver released “Love Sick” in 2023, with special collaborations from Justin Bieber, Future, Brent Faiyaz, Kali Uchis, among many others.
