Doppler Fest is a new festival and band contest that has just opened the registrations and will have 4 qualifiers with the presence of 4 bands in each. Registration runs until February 28 on the website.
The qualifiers will take place on the 5th and 12th of March and will be broadcast on the 7th and 8th of April on RTP Palco. The Grand Final will be broadcast on April 9 from F-Som studios in Maia live and live on RTP Palco.
The Doppler Fest will feature prizes worth 10,000, which consist of recording, mixing and mastering a disc, a video clip and a photoshoot, among others.
The competition will have a Jury composed of elements linked to the national music industry: Alberto Almeida, music photographer, director and musician. He collaborated with projects such as Clã, Zé Pedro, Zen, among others; Daniel Carvalho, sound technician, music producer and founder of Fábrica de Som; Jorge Oliveira, RTP journalist and musician.
This project was co-financed by the Guarantee Culture program, so all funds spent on the production of this event will be channelled to technicians, sound, lighting and video companies, and other stakeholders in the national culture sector.
The full production of this event is in charge of Associação Fábrica de Som with the support of Soundbooking, Lda. An audiovisual production at the level of the best concerts and national television programs.
