November 8th is a very special date for singer Dora Maria, releasing her new single “Lá Longe”.
“Lá Longe” was written by Dora Maria, who does not define herself as a poet or lyricist but found inspiration for this challenge in the love she feels for her husband. A poem that Dora Maria considers a true “love letter”, in these times when no one writes them anymore.
The music is written by the renowned violist Armando Machado (Fado Santa Luzia). The arrangements and production are by Tiago Ramos and the musicians who accompany Dora Maria are João Vaz on Portuguese guitar, Nuno Flores on violin, Alexandre Silva on classical guitar and Rui Santos on bass.
“Lá Longe” is Dora Maria’s most recent single, which will be part of the upcoming album A outra face, from which the artist has been releasing other singles, such as: “Trigueirinha”, “Terra Mãe” and “Aí Este Rapaz”.
