Within the walls of Sortelha Castle, right in the centre of Portugal, Story Studio has just opened seven tourist accommodation units, where history, eco-efficiency and eco-design are the protagonists. In this historic village in Portugal, 17 studios with types T0, T1 and T2 are being renovated, in a total investment that exceeds 2 million euros.
These units are being remodelled following the design and history of a centuries-old construction, in a fusion with contemporary architectural concepts, so that comfort is king and the experience is unforgettable.
Telling another ‘story of Portugal’, this time among the streets and alleys of the centre of Sortelha, Story Studio is, therefore, renovating a total of 17 tourist accommodation units with a capacity for a total of 56 guests, all with equipped kitchenettes, bathroom punctuated with unique details, underfloor heating and bioethanol fireplace, providing exclusive experiences.
Márcia Vilar, promoter of the project, states that “this opening in Sortelha is another firm step by the company towards realizing the brand’s expansion strategy. In this way, and after the opening of the first studios in Sortelha, preparations are underway to open the remaining ones by May.” Márcia also highlights that “by the end of the year, Story Studio will also open three more tourist accommodation units in the Historic Village of Monsanto, thus reinforcing the brand’s presence in the network of Historic Villages in Portugal”.
