“Dragons and Mythical Monsters”: A call to little heroes
Nominated for the 2022 Olivier Award, in the ‘Best Family Show’ category, this magical show will take to the stage at Coliseu Porto Ageas on May 12th, and on May 18th and 19th at the Tivoli BBVA Theater.
Lisbon and Porto will host an interactive and multimedia show in May, which reveals a multitude of secrets, myths and legends of the “Dragons and Mythical Monsters” that walked the earth.
The first stop is in Porto, at the Coliseu Porto Ageas, on the 12th of May and then the show heads to Lisbon, on the 18th and 19th of May, where it will be on stage at the Tivoli BBVA Theatre. Tickets are now on sale at ticketline and the usual locations.
The international production also features the Portuguese-speaking presence of Carlos Agualusa, who plays the role of Dave, the heroes’ trainer. In Portuguese, Dave will teach the public how to tame “Dragons and Mythical Monsters” and thus launch a challenge for all the little heroes.
The Stone Troll, the mysterious Indrik, the Japanese Baku, the Tooth Fairy, an adorable unicorn and the majestic Griffin, among other creatures, promise a show full of adventures, bringing together children and adults from all families in the same room.
“Dragons and Mythical Monsters” is a show created by those responsible for the international success of “Dinosaur World Live” and, in this production, fantastic animals give life to spectacular puppets that are the true heroes of the mystical world.
