Duarte returns to France to participate in the Festival La Folle Journée in Nantes on February 3rd (Salle Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) and February 4th (Salle Novalis). The latter will be recorded by France Musique radio.
Festival La Folle Journée was created in Nantes in 1995 by René Martin, artistic director of La Folle Journée de Nantes. A unique cultural event, it aims to decentralize classical music, often considered elitist, in order to allow access to a wider audience, maintaining artistic excellence.
Every year, at the end of January, the festival welcomes the world’s greatest artists to the Cité des Congrès de Nantes, gathering a large audience around a composer, a major movement in music history, or a cross-cutting theme.
Since 2003, La Folle Journée has extended to the entire Pays de la Loire region. At the same time, it has established itself internationally – in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and currently in Poland, Japan, and Russia – and its resounding success places it among the biggest international festivals.
A unique meeting point in the world that allows the public, artists, and actors of the music scene to come together around a common passion, La Folle Journée is a total and immersive experience in the heart of music and musicians.
