Duques de Bragança Premium Apartments wins Oscar of Real Estate “Best Rehabilitation”

[dropcap type=”default”]D[/dropcap]uques de Bragança Premium Apartments, in Lisbon, has just been distinguished as “Best Rehabilitation” by the National Real Estate Award 2020.

Developed by Coporgest, with a unique location in the Chiado area, with a unique and breathtaking view over the Tagus River, the project is an ex-libris in the luxury residential market in the capital.

The delivery ceremony of the so-called Real Estate Oscars took place yesterday, March 5, at Vila Galé Sintra Resort Hotel Conference & Spa.

The National Real Estate Prize, a competition organized by Magazine Imobiliário magazine, is the oldest national award in the sector, distinguishing, since 1996, the best projects in the country.

Located on Rua Victor Cordon, Duques de Bragança Premium Apartments has a gross construction area of ​​5,144 m2 (including balconies and terraces), spread over nine floors, four of which are below ground.

The property, which began to be developed in April 2016 and ended in March 2019, has 13 apartments and two stores.

The historic building, which dates back to the pre-Pombaline era, was the target of a unique rehabilitation project. In this process it was possible to preserve the elegant architectural details of the original exterior design, ensuring the integral maintenance of the facades, with emphasis on the preservation of the spans in the shape of a warhead and the elimination of adulterations of the late 19th century.

All this together with a demanding quality of construction that allowed the building to be furnished with contemporary luxury interiors, in order to provide maximum comfort.

The entire architectural project was developed internally by Coporgest, as well as the inspection of the work and the sale of fractions. The construction contract was the responsibility of UDRA.

In addition to Duques de Bragança, Coporgest also had the tender, in the Housing category, for the Liberdade Premium Apartments project, which also reached the final stage among 29 finalists, distributed in various categories.

Located next to Avenida de Liberdade, in Lisbon, Liberdade Premium Apartments consists of 10 apartments, from T1 to T4 duplex, and a store. The building was designed from the ground up for one of the best-known vacant lots in the city center of the late 20th century, at the intersection of three public roads.

With a gross construction area of ​​2,165 m2, the project was completed in December, and is in the commercialization phase. Of the 10 housing units, eight are for rent and two for sale.

In last year’s edition, Coporgest had already collected an Oscar for Real Estate, in the Housing category, with the iconic Sottomayor Residências, considered the largest urban residential rehabilitation project in the last 15 years in Lisbon.
