The organizer of what is considered the largest video game fair in the world, E3, confirmed that 2020 will not be held at all and that it is thus officially canceled.
The final nail has been hammered into the coffin of E3 2020. With the physical annual gaming showcase event, set to be held June, cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic, organisers at the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) have now pulled the plug on plans for an online alternative, too.
It should be recalled that the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) had indicated in the past that the 2020 edition of E3 would have a digital format, but apparently it will not be so. On the other hand, ESA has already confirmed the dates for the 2021 edition.
