Ed Westwick comes to Comic Con Portugal 2024
The “Gossip Girl” actor will be at the event on March 24th in partnership with Canal Biggs.
Ed Westwick began training as an actor at the National Youth Theatre, in London and had his first roles in “Breaking and Entering”, alongside Jude Law and “Children of Man”, by Alfonso Cuarón, but the role that catapulted him His stardom arrived on TV with his portrayal of Chuck Bass in the hit drama series, “Gossip Girl,” currently airing on Biggs.
In 2009, Ed received the Young Hollywood Breakthrough Award at the Young Hollywood Awards and in 2011 he was chosen by Clint Eastwood for the period drama “J. Edgar”, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. On television, he was part of the cast of “Wicked City”, “Snatch”, “Californication” and “White Gold” on BBC2 and Netflix and made his directing debut with the short film “Tether”. The latest projects include the films “Deep Fear”, “Wolves of War” and “Tonic” and the pilot “Hooked”. Ed divides his time between London and Los Angeles.
The news doesn’t just stop at Cinema & Television. Comic Con Portugal also announces ISAG – Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão and Coca-Cola as Official Sponsors of the event in 2024. Both brands will be activating and have prepared unique experiences for visitors. ISAG and Coca-Cola join brands such as Samsung, Red Bull and Cinemundo.
The big names continue to be announced and the news will not stop. More talents, experiences and surprises are expected for the 10th edition of the biggest Iberian pop culture event.
