Edmundo Inácio re-releases his debut album Vai-se Andando? today in digital format. For the first time, it is also available on CD. The big news of this reissue is the inclusion of the unreleased single “Quem Me Dera.”
Accompanied by an original and colourful music video, directed by Rita Seixas, which does justice to both the artist’s creativity and his sonic innovation in a melting pot of musical influences in which traditional Portuguese music always takes pride in place.
While the program remains faithful to the original edition, Vai-se Andando? takes on new life with the inclusion of this 14th track. “Quem Me Dera” presents an artistic dimension that reflects Edmundo’s authenticity and creativity, consolidating his role as one of the most promising names in Portuguese music.
Edmundo Inácio is a multifaceted artist with a background in music and cinema. He stood out for his ability to combine traditional Portuguese music with modern influences, including electronic and world music.
After a musical rediscovery on The Voice Portugal, where he reached the final gala, he decided to focus on valuing his cultural roots. In 2023, he won 2nd place at the Festival da Canção with “A Festa“, marking the beginning of a promising music career. Born in Portimão, Edmundo released the album Vai-se Andando?, an inventive journey through Portuguese identity that now returns with a special reissue and the new single “Quem Me Dera”.
