Eleven bets on the greatest coverage ever for the Portuguese Formula 1 GP

Formula 1 is back in Portugal this weekend, six months after the last race on national soil.

In order to receive the biggest of motorsport competitions, ELEVEN is again preparing a special broadcast from the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão, betting, once again, on the greatest coverage ever of an F1 GP in Portugal, with some news. The Formula 1 Heineken Grande Prémio de Portugal 2021 will be broadcast live and ONLY on channel 3 of ELEVEN, with coverage for 4 days, with more than 20 hours of live broadcasts and exclusive content.

The Grand Prix of Portugal is the 3rd stage of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship, which this year has a total of 23 races, all of which are broadcast on ELEVEN.

Last year the Portuguese GP had Lewis Hamilton as the winner who, in addition to setting the record for the fastest lap (1: 18.750), achieved his 92nd victory becoming the most GP winner in the history of the World Championship Formula 1.

At the 2020 GP of Portugal, ELEVEN made the biggest coverage ever of a Formula 1 Grand Prix in our country. This year ELEVEN again guarantees the biggest and best coverage ever of the Portuguese GP, introducing news in editorial coverage.

ELEVEN will take all the emotions of this Portuguese GP to all fans, before, during, and after the race. Over a four-day period, a dedicated team will bring viewers the best of F1 and the Portimão circuit, with comments in Portuguese and exclusive interviews with Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Räikkönen, George Russel, Nikita Mazepin, Günther Steiner among others.

Daily, from Thursday to Sunday, the F1 ELEVEN team – Óscar Góis, João Carlos Costa, Nuno Pinto, Sérgio Veiga, Miguel Roriz, Henrique Chaves and Alexandre Évora – will be live from the paddock and rooftop of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in a exclusive studio designed and assembled on purpose for this GP.

In addition to the daily broadcast on the ELEVEN 3 channel, we also highlight the digital show F1 ELEVEN 1: 1, which through ELEVEN’s Facebook will allow all F1 fans to have an insight into the backstage and the action of the Portuguese GP, and interact with the F1 ELEVEN team through the hashtag # F1ELEVEN.

In addition to Formula 1, ELEVEN will also accompany the two support races that take place over the weekend: the Portugal Speed Championship and the EuroFormula Open, with transmission of free training, qualifications, and races for each of the competitions.
