The Brazilian singer and songwriter Emicida returned to Lisbon, to close the presentation tour of the album ‘AmarElo‘, which debuted this Thursday at the Coliseu de Lisboa, in the first of two concerts in Portugal.

‘AmarElo’, inspired by the title of a poem by Paulo Leminski, has also given rise to a documentary, which is a lesson in history and resistance to the black movement in São Paulo.

Emicida uses all his charisma, poetry, and music to grab the public in his concerts while maintaining a captivating simplicity and humility, celebrates love and friendship in each theme, and had Drik Barbosa at his side in the concert, who also performed the first part of the show, Dino D’Santiago with whom he collaborates on the theme “Maria“, a song dedicated to all women, which in Dino’s words, “Marias can be whatever they want”, and to finish Papillon.

The concert ended with a tribute to Rita Lee who recently left us, but who left a wonderful legacy.
Another fantastic concert by one of the most creative and captivating voices in Brazil.
