The line between Porto and Dubai will have flights four times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
[dropcap type=”background”]E[/dropcap]mirates announced on Tuesday that it will offer four weekly flights to Portugal’s second largest city, Porto, starting in July this year. The airline’s initiative was well-received by the mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira.
The flight will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER with eight first-class private suites, 42 executive-class seats and 310 economy-class seats.
These flights will happen on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, according to what was announced by the airline.
Invicta thus becomes the second Portuguese city where Emirates is flying. Currently, the airline has two daily flights to Lisbon Airport.
The mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, has already welcomed the airline through his personal Facebook page.
“The introduction of this new flight, together with our twice-daily service in Lisbon, will help meet the growing number of leisure and business travellers, as well as offering more options, flexibility and connection when travelling to and from Portugal, “said Tim Clark, president of Emirates.
