As part of the plan to offer charging stations for electric vehicles, Empark added 15 more charging stations for semi-fast electric vehicles (up to 32 amps) this month, distributed across 4 car parks along the Central axis of Lisbon.
The new underground car parks in Lisbon that offer this service are Restauradores, Camões, Mercado da Ribeira and Técnico / Alves Redol, which join the stations already installed in the car parks of Campolide, Marquês de Pombal, Alexandre Herculano, Saldanha, Valbom and Bern.
These charging stations occupy premium areas in the car parks, which have a strong identity with the white pavement, walls and ceilings, from which stand out only the orange lines that separate spaces, and are of universal use being, as required by legislation, linked to the Mobi-e network.
Until the end of February, porters will be available in the parking lots of Alameda, Campo de Ourique, Avenida de Roma, Arco do Cego and Sete Rios, all in Lisbon. Car parks in Porto (D. João I and Brasília), Vila Nova de Gaia (Civic Center and Luíz I), Cascais (Largo da Estação), Leiria (Mercado / Maringá) will follow until the end of April. , Portimão (Alameda da República) and Lisbon (Baixa-Chiado, Infante Santo and Praça de Londres).
In total, at the end of April, Empark will have around 100 chargers available to its customers.
In this way, the company intends to respond to a growing demand for this type of service, and in the long term, integrated solutions for the provision of parking and energy are designed in order to provide even more comfort and safety to owners of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
