“The Magic Encounters take place at a time when, worldwide, all similar festivals have been canceled. We have a temptation, a tendency, and an addiction to look at those who are bigger than us. This year’s edition features 16 artists from eight countries and four continents. This speaks well of the dimension of Encontros Mágicos as an international festival of magic, in this case taking place in Coimbra”, said the producer of the event, Luís de Matos. “The Magic Meetings are a clear and unequivocal example of the European dimension of a part of the city’s regular programming, which has it and which is, in fact, extraordinary, unique”, added the magician.
The biggest and oldest magic festival held in Portugal is back in the city for its 25th edition, this year featuring 15 artists from eight countries on four continents.
