The charity rehearsal takes place on September 9th at Maria Matos Theater.
All proceeds will benefit the Learning in Partnership Association | A PAR, a non-profit IPSS (Social Solidarity Institution) whose mission is to create development and learning opportunities for children from birth, through close partnerships with parents, caregivers, and education and childhood professionals.

The show is an insightful, surprising, and humorous portrait of adult friendships, ego, and the struggle to accept different points of view.
Since its Paris premiere in 1994, “Arte” has become an international phenomenon. Based on the friends’ resistance to differences of opinion on a very specific topic, “Arte” paves the way for a dialogue around the acceptance of difference and the plurality of ways of seeing and experiencing art—and of seeing and accepting the world and others. A blank canvas is the starting point for a show that proposes an analysis of friendship and how we relate to one another. The text’s strength and relevance lie precisely in its timelessness: by addressing universal human issues—conflict, empathy, and the subjectivity of taste—it continues to resonate with audiences and encourage reflection on these topics, always with plenty of laughter.
SYNOPSIS
SYNOPSIS A story of friendship shaken by something seemingly simple: the purchase of a completely white painting with white stripes, signed by an acclaimed contemporary artist. Sérgio decides to buy the painting. Marco can’t hide his disbelief. Ivo tries, without much success, to be the conciliator. What could have been a mere disagreement of tastes quickly turns into a battle of egos, resentments, and hilarious revelations. Amid laughter, silence, and tension, the most unpredictable side of friendship is revealed.
